Hi! I’m Levi Trygstad, and I recently graduated from Central Lakes College in Brainerd, Minnesota, where I earned two Associate of Fine Arts degrees in Music and Music Technology. During my time at CLC, I worked as one of two Music Department Work Studies, handling everything from moving equipment and setting up for ensembles to filing and logging music and supporting a range of department activities.
As a performer, I played trombone in several ensembles, including the Brass Ensemble, Sports Band, Raider Concert Winds (Concert Band), Raider Jazz Collective, Jazz Orchestra, and the Central Lakes Wind Symphony. I also sang in the Chamber Singers and the Central Lakes Jazz Orchestra. My college years were an exciting and rewarding time, and I’m proud of the skills and connections I built while having a blast on stage and behind the scenes.
I plan to attend Minnesota State University Moorhead in the fall to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Commercial Music.

Highschool:
I'm a proud alumni of Park Rapids Senior High School, where I grew my passion for the arts as well as a drive to make a positive impact in my community. With a diverse range of interests and talents, I have embraced the spirit of exploration and commitment throughout my life.
My high school journey was marked by active involvement in an array of extracurricular activities, from participation in the National Honor Society (NHS) to Concert Band, Concert Choir, Jazz Band, and Pep Band. I have embraced the world of Esports, strengthened my leadership and team-building abilities in FFA, honed my public speaking skills in Speech, and ventured into the world of business with BPA.
The theater always held a special place in my heart, where I showed audiences acting prowess in various productions. My commitment also extended beyond school walls, where I also contributed to the Park Rapids Area Community Band and Northern Light Opera Company.
